I began my design journey in Cali, Colombia, where I earned my Graphic Design degree, and I haven’t looked back. Along the way, I’ve built skills in UX, UI, and frontend development, and I recently earned a certificate in AI for UX/UI.
Most recently, I worked as a Lead Consultant Experience Designer at Perficient, where I led a redesign that doubled task success and cut frontend development time by 40%. For me, leadership means creating sustainable solutions that outlast individual projects, designing systems that other teams can run, and mentoring designers so they can take over those systems with confidence.
I actively participate in the local and international design community through groups such as AIGA San Diego, San Diego Experience Design (SDXD), UX Speakeasy, and UXPA International, because the field evolves quickly and collaboration matters. The common thread throughout my career is that I work best at the intersection of strategy and craft.
I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I’m currently exploring how AI is changing product design from the inside out.
